Spirituality has so many meanings and definitions, and it is hard to say that one defines it more than another. I also agree with your last statement from Ken Pargament. It seems that it is becoming mainstream to be spiritual, or to state that you believe in spirituality. However in order to really find yourself and find deeper meaning there is a lot more to the process than just acknowledging the practice.

sirojs, thanks alot for such quick response. I did not expect it :)

Building on your thoughts, I'd say: I approach life with passion in everything I do, yet I am rather simple .. I do not have envy or enmity towards anyone as long as I am left alone. I have never met someone that understands or appreciates who/what I am. It could be this new woman that will.

I like your thought on this. I will reflect more on it as things develop. I feel it is a significant dream for me. thanks again.

Hi, thanks for sharing your dream. It is hard to offer any thought on this since I do not know much about your. But if I were to just guess, I do wonder if this snake may represent your passion in life. I find it intriguing that you had a snake in a box on your lap, is it possible that this white snake represent your passion that is pure and innocent and nicely placed in a bo, peaceful. And that the person you are doing going with has in some ways evoke a different type of passion that makes it leap out of the box, a type of passion that you do not quite know what to do with and it is not neatly contained in the box. It has lead you way beyond your 'peaceful non-threatening' self to a different realm. Just a thought.

Well, I came across this page searching for the meaning of a dream i had of a white snake. After reading few posts, I'm more confused as to what my dream might mean. Here it is:

i was sitting with some sort of a box or sandbox in my lap. I look down in it, I see a coiled white snake of average size. The snake and I make eye contact. I don't feel threatened as the snake looks 'peaceful' and not about to harm me. I was actually at ease, and viewed the snake with curiosity if anything. The snake emerges from the box then quickly morphs into a woman that is suddenly sitting to my left, leans her head on my shoulder, and hold on to my arm in a rather romantic way. After that, the woman and i spend time together going places. We come to a particular place where she knows a man, who seems hostile and mean towards her and has a bone to settle with her. I tell her, I can be with you and help you settle it, she says no, I'll settle it alone.

In real life, I'm in the final stage of a nasty divorce. Life with the soon-to-be ex was practically psychological hell.

But I recently met another woman. I'm very attracted to her, and do not know much about her yet. She's actually in my thoughts all my waking time. The strangest part of the dream, is that, the woman the snake morphs into is the new woman I met!!

Also, in real life, that woman I met recently is also going through divorce.

I'm scratching my head as to what this means. I've spent hours searching online for snake dreams. Maybe the meaning is in front of me, but... any thoughts?

This is a fascinating dream. I wonder about the significance of the meaning of coins, the door and the act of stealing to you? And also why does is the puddle a trap since it can mean many things but to do it seems like a trap. But some how you seem to be able to manage and to move forward even when things seem scary and thus you were not hurt by the attack. Very interesting.

I had a dream where I stole some coins ( loose change and I knew it was nickel dime stuff, in my dream, I didn't even know why i took a handful, it was just there ) .

As I exited the room I noticed a Boa constrictor moving out of the way and to my left. ( it was brown with black spots or diamonds )

As I approached the street I noticed a puddle and I just knew, the Boa had laid a trap , but I kept walking and sure enough the puddle was a deep pool. As i lost my footing the Boa went for my right arm bit deeply and wrapped itself around my arm. No pain, just questions as I awoke.
